The club embarked on a series of fundraising events organised by Treasurer Peter McKernon which aimed to raise funds for the Children's Hospice.

The events were centered around Beckett's bar in West Belfast and featured a Poker Drive which raised £300. An Ireland shirt - donated by Lifestyle sports was raffled and raised £110 as was a new Antrim top - donated by O'Neills which raised a further £110. Our thanks must go to Peter McKernon who almost single-handedly organised these events and thanks to his persistence and tenacity we managed to raise a total of £520 which was presented to Ann Smith from the Children's Hospice immediately before departure for the Australian game on Tuesday 19th August.
